Schools don't have to alter their goals to squeeze into the "one size fits all" philosophy of other outdoor education providers. A wide selection of sites and our pool of experienced outdoor educators combine to make your education and program goals a reality.

Our priority is to facilitate learning by providing students with the skills to be at ease in the outdoors. If your present outdoor education providers do not measure up to these standards, consider Naturalists at Large. Programs are available in all California ecosystems.

Naturalists at Large recognizes that each school is different and that individual goals vary greatly.

Naturalists at Large has the expertise to provide a single experience or develop an integrated curriculum that spans many years and utilizes several sites. Naturalists at Large programs have introduced students to environments as diverse as the pygmy forest of Sonoma, the Giant Forest of Sequoia National Park, the Sonoran Desert, the lazy lower Colorado River and the aquamarine waters of Santa Catalina Island. We are the only outdoor education company providing integrated outdoor and environmental education in all major California ecosystems.

	We recognize how important outdoor and retreat programs are to any curriculum. That's why we work every step of the way to develop the program you want. Begin creating a customized program by setting your goals in combination with each grade level and past student experiences. Then, we'll build your program based on what you have told us you want - not on what we think you should have.
